Loosen the 6 CV joint bolts with an 8mm hex bit,  Loosen both sides before removing the bolts as you will probably have to use the parking brake to prevent the axles from spinning.  Drop both Inner CV joints.

Remove the brakes.
Remove the brakes.  Use a 7mm hex bit to remove the caliper guide bolts and remove the caliper.  Remove the carrier bolts with a 19mm socket.  Remove the rotor holddown screw with a 5mm hex bit.
Pound the stub axle towards the inside of the car.  Don;t damage the splines or threads with an errant hammer blow.  You might want to protect the threads with the old axle nut.

You might have to unbolt the lower end of the shock to clear the outer CV joint.  Support the control arm with a floor jack as you unbolt the shock.  Gently lower the control arm when the shock is free.

The stub axle is out!  Now hammer the drive flange out from the inside.  Use a socket or chunk of steel that will just fit inside the inner diameter of the bearing.

Remove the snap ring with snap ring pliers.  You might find a flat head screwdriver useful for keeping the ring from jumping back into its groove.
