Getting ready for drive flange installation. Check stub axle to hub fit BEFORE installing the hub. I had to clean up a few splines on the driver side to make everything slip together. The passenger side slipped together with only hand pressure on the workbench.

Insert the hub and get ready to pound. I put a flat piece of steel across the hub opening to give myself a flat surface to hit with a hammer. I probably could have used the puller if I played with it a little. Once the hub is on, slide in the stub axle and snug up the axle nut.

I probably could have used the puller as that would have bneen easier on the new wheel bearing but I was in a rush and didn't think of it. Readjust the parking brake shoes while you have easy access to the adjuster.  Reinstall the brakes and the inner CV joint bolts.  Jack up the control arm and reinstall the shock bolt.  Temporarily install the wheel and set the car on the ground to torque the axle nut.  Remove the wheel and pound in a new axle nut lock plate.  Put the wheel back on and don;t forget to torque your lug bolts.

Take an easy drive around the block and enjoy the silence!
